Qld: Libs again cleared of bribery

Bribery allegations against the Queensland Liberal Party have been dismissed.

A parliamentary committee has tabled its report into allegations Liberal leader BOB
QUINN tried to bribe independent MP ELISA ROBERTS .. to run for the Liberals at the next
state election.

The committee's found no prima facie case for a breach of privilege or contempt ..

and recommended no further action be taken.

Police .. the Queensland Electoral Commission and the Crime and Misconduct Commission
had already cleared Mr QUINN.
